TEI Selected by MacSpeech as Reseller & Trainer
Stevensville, MT, December 01, 2009 - The Emergent Institute announced it has been chosen as both a reseller and the first Certified MacSpeech Training Partner to offer one-on-one training for the MacSpeech Dictate series of products. Training will be provided to individuals who want to get the maximum benefit from MacSpeech Dictate. The Emergent Institute's expert trainers will cover how to create the perfect profile, using commands, working with a specialized vocabulary, or anything else, per the customer's request.

One-on-One training is available for anyone interested in increasing their knowledge of how to use MacSpeech Dictate and is priced at $69.95 for a 50-minute session.

TEI Partners with START-UP/USA, National Entrepreneur Leadership Network
Since 2006 The Emergent Institute has participated in the National Self-Employment Technical Assistance and Research Initiative. START-UP/USA is a project funded by the U.S. Department of Labors’, Office of Disability Employment Policy and is housed at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
Through START-UP/USA, VCU established the National Entrepreneur Leadership Network. This peer-to-peer mentor model is made up of a nationally recognized group of individuals with disabilities who have successfully become self employed. As a selected member Don, and TEI, have worked on research, technical assistance, and resource development and dissemination projects. Currently TEI and Don are providing mentorship to two groups of artists in Alaska, and individual artists in Washington, Texas, Wisconsin and New York.
